1. Product description
Annealed steel wire, obtained by cold drawing from SAE 1006 wire rod.
Available in a diameter of 1.10 mm with tolerances in accordance with standard NC 238:2021, the wire is supplied in bundles or coils weighing 4 kg.
2. Geometric characteristics
The standard diameter is 1.10.
However, different diameters between 1.10 and 4 mm can be made to order. The standard tolerances on the diameter are those defined in the NC 238:2021 standard, however different tolerances can be applied on request.
3. Packing and packaging
The wire is packaged in bundles or crowns, of standard weights indicated below. However, other packages can be supplied on order within the limit of 50 kg per crown.

In all cases, the tolerance on the colise weight is ± 1%.
4. Labelling
Each crown has a securely attached label stating:
- Designation: Tie wire
- Diameter 1.10 and mass of the product
- Date of manufacture, NC 238:2021
- PROMETAL logo and factory address
